I'm passionate about helping teachers live more balanced lives as "whole people", which, in turn, can't help but lead to improvements for students. I love any approach to education that addresses "the whole student"--academic, social, emotional, & behavioral--and incorporates learning that is both AUTHENTIC & FUN. Whether adult or child, teacher or student, I believe that when we are given the tools and support we need to be successful, transformations are possible--and these transformations positively affect every area of life!

The T.E.A.C.H. Framework (a.k.a. My Philosophy)

At the heart of my teaching philosophy is the idea that the energy & mindset of the teacher sets the tone for success in the classroom--and that's why I'm so passionate about ideas that keep teachers feeling inspired (which is so needed & often overlooked in the work we do).
With the teacher's own needs met, she or he is then able to focus on 4 key elements that I have found in my own personal experience to be the hallmarks of a successful classroom:
Efforts to Personalize Learning
Authentic Learning Experiences
Consciously-Managed Classroom
Holistic View of Learner & Process
